Hello everybody! How are you all doing? Keeping well and safe? Not too bored? Well, if you are, here is my latest creation with some of the resin pieces from random arts. Check it out! I used a tin can that contains fish that i put in my salad. So i cleaned it up and used as the base for this under water piece. And of course the resin forms. Arent they cute?! I glued different sizes of paper on to the can and covered everything in 2 coats of heavy gesso. Now it's time for some colour! I ve used lindy's sprays and some paints and waxes to get the result i wanted. I dried in between the layers and went back in and in untill i was satisfied. 'After this its time to colour the resin pieces. For this i also used the sprays and wax. First i used the sprays, then i high lighted the reliëfs on the pieces with aged bronze wax of finnabair. After this i decided it looked to 'new' to be under water for a long time ;) so i used some rust pastes. Oh how i love this!I went in with different colours back and forth and dried it in between the layers. Now it's time to fill up the can and give it the finishing touches! I put some of the resin shapes inside, and on the outside. Then i filled it with pearls, coins and cloth. Some Dolphins on the sides. A thin rope on the top. And of course some of those lovely tiny seashells. And this is the endresult! I had so many ideas but the can was too small to put all the things in it that i had in mind!! Products used from the shop: - resin pieces Resin Creations - tiny seashells Embellishments & Ephemera - lindy's stamp gang sprays Lindy's Stamp Gang - wax Finnabair Waxes - rust pastes Finnabair Pastes and Mediums The other products used came from my stash. Please if you have any questions, feel free to ask! I hope you enjoyed it!
