March Moodboard Challenge

I adore the colours of this months moodboard.  Yellow is my daughter's favourite colour.

I started with gluing down some beautiful lace material, cardboard, mosaic glass chipboards,resin and mitforms. 

I then gave it a good layer of white gesso.

​The backing is a small canvas.

​I then dicided to wrap some hemp twine around the canvas and then paint it with white gesso.

​I then used Lindy's magical shakers (octoberfest orange), around the edge of the resins and chipboard to create a shadow.

​Then i used Lindy's sprays 
(glory of theseas gold) around the edge of the canvas. I sprayed water to spread it around the canvas.

​I then used a combination of  lindy's spray
(yellow rose of texas) and Peral Ex Powered pigments (scarlet)  and Daler Rowney FW Artist ink to get the desired look. I used nuvo Crystal Drops (grande)on the chipboards and as a highlight on the tips of the flowers (resin).
