Hello everybodyyy! How are all of you liking the moodboard for february? This is my take on the wonderfull colours. I made a page in my art journal to show you something different for a change, This is how it turned out. I'm using an old book as my art journal because i think this gives a nice background. And of course i've used some lovely products from random arts shop. I will list the things below. But here are the products i used. Lovely set of products isn't it?! Ok so if you want to know how i made this page, keep reading ;) I started to give my bookpages a wash of gesso. I wanted the words to show so i mixed gesso with a bit of water so it became a wash of gesso. Then i started spraying with some lindy's stamp gang sprays in purple and pink colours.. After this was dry i used a stencil from my stash with some distrss inks. After that i stamped the big image on both pages. Make sure you use a permanent ink if you are going to use other fluids on the page. You dont want it to run over your page and loose your image! Now its time to get a bit messy. I've used liqid acrylics violet. It was the first time i used it. But it is beautiful. Its such a bright colour. Even with adding the water it stays very bright. Beautiful. I let it drop down the page from the top and the bottom. Give it a good dry with the heat tool and you are good to go. Then i chose some papers from the paper pack Breathe. I chose 3 different papers that matched the colours. Cut them in different sizes and glued them down. To make them stand out more i used neocolours and a black pen. Now i splattered some white and gold on the page. And added the border stamp from the stamppack to the sides of the pages. I cut out the arrows and a butterfly with my die cuts and punt the aged bronze enamel on it. I love this stuff! Then glued them to the page. With a stencil from my stash and some modelingpaste i gave some more texture to the background in the corners. i used the nuvo drops in black to give an accent to the arrows and make them blend in with the page a bit. Now its time to add a sentiment to the page. I used the stamp from the pack. And a sticker that i had in my stash. I also lined them with black marker so they stand out more. As a finishing touch i put black ink on all sides of the pages. I hope you like it! Product list from the random arts shop:
