Altered bottle using some amazing products available from the randomarts store. To start with i covered the bottle in white gesso, once dry i added a thick layer of crackle paint. Once that dried i sealed the bottle with a matte spray. Clear gesso could also be used to seal it. Then using gel medium MATT i attached an old chain i found in my garden, possibly from an old handing basket. I also attached beads both small and large. I then painted it all with white gesso. Once the gesso dried i used lindy's sprays to colour the bottle this amazing vintage look.I started with Tibetan Poppy Teal around the neck of the bottle allowing it to drip down the bottle and around the chain. Then i added Bayou Boogie Gold randomly over the bottle. I used Buccaneer Bay Blue around the chain and beads but couldn't get the desired look i was after. I sprayed the whole bottle with Azure Sea Asters to give it a lovely shimmer. Then comes the most amazing art product i've ever used, Rust Effect Paste. I started with the Brown Rust. I used an old cheap brush, lightly dabbing the paint on then smudging it around. I put it on a bit heavy in places so i used a spray bottle to water it down. Now, I forgot to take photos of my next to steps sorry. I then added Red Rust over the Brown in places, slowly working it around with a course stiff brush, then a little bit of Gold Rust to help add to the rusty old look. I then used artist wax Peacock on the beads to add pops of blue to the bottle. I absolutely adore this colour. I also used wax to high light the edges of some flowers. I used white flowers from Little Birdie. Some i kept white while others i used Lindy's sprays on to make them an amazing shimmery blue. I also used off cuts of chain (plastic beads) from an old vertical blind. I used the rust paste on an old plastic pad lock i had laying around. I also used an old toy earing than i sprayed with Lindy's spray and Firebird wax. I also used a heart shaped button, chipboard heart and a little skull to decorate.
